A New Place To Call Home
Lol!.. I thought this cartoon was funny and a good way to let everyone know that I'm moving to a new state in about 11 days. like many others before me.. I have decided to return to the south, a place where I have family history ( Hello! South Carolina ) during this transition, I'll be blogging less until I'm settled but I'll be keeping in touch and posting my updates as I go along.
Wow, from MI to SC will be quite the transition, but if you have family history there, then I hope it's an easy one. You'll have more months of warm weather too right? Good luck with your move!
ReplyDeleteAngela warm weather for longer days is my strongest pull! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your move. Warmer weather certainly will have it benefits. Are you trading snow for hurricanes? Will you have a garden? We don't want to lose you, so keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteHello Vetsy! hope everything goes smooth for you and family. You should be really busy now! Thanks for sparing time to check out my blog :-D Take care... congrats on your new home and best wishes.PS: Remember to latch the doors hehe... funny cartoon.
ReplyDeleteBig transition I would think, and very busy times. The best to you and yours. We understand you will be super busy for a spell. We will wait on the sidelines for the rest of the story :)
ReplyDeleteAnn, no I won't have to deal with hurricanes because this area is in the foothills, but I got a good back up plan just in case.. A canoe, and a surf board.
ReplyDeleteSteph...Thank you very much. Yes it is going to get very busy, but hopefully I'll find time in between for updates on my journey.
Barbee.. Thank you I can't wait to share my new adventures with you all.
Vetsy ~ I can definitely see why you'd want to leave freezing temps and long winters for the loveliness and warmer temps of S.C.
ReplyDeleteHave a smooth move, and enjoy setting up you home in a new place.
Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Love and hugs ~ FlowerLady
Thank you so much Flower Lady. It gets a little cool their but never freezing. Freezing is something I sure won't miss...Lol!
ReplyDeleteOh, no....I think I should get over to your place and dig out some of your perennials and bring them back to my garden. Kidding, of course.
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Columbia, SC in 1967 & 1968, before you were born I bet. Our son was born at the Ft. Jackson hospital.
You're going to have many new subjects to blog about. Can't wait to see what you share with us.
Travel safe, my friend. Maybe the Chickadees will follow you:)
Thank you Donna Lol... I laughed at the thought of the Chickadees following me. I will have lots of new subjects to talk about and can't wait to share them with you.
ReplyDeleteSo sad you are leaving Michigan, but certainly can understand wanting to be near family.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your move. This is a big brave step. Michigan's loss will be S. Carolina's gain.
Thank you Linda, that was a good way to put it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move Vetsy!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move! I look forward to learning more about South Carolina and your garden there.
ReplyDeleteI am glad, Vesty, that you are still with us. Good luck on the move. See you in your new home.
ReplyDeleteHi Vetsy,
ReplyDeleteI sure get behind a lot! I had to come back to find out what you said about moving. I hope things are going well for you in South Carolina.
