Hello my blogger friends, I'm here in the State of South Carolina. The South will now be my new home, but where I permanently land is unknown at the moment. This is a Temporary touch down, GA, SC and NC, are all contenders.. And for now I'm staying with relatives until I find my bearings.
My sister took me site seeing and she knew exactly what I wanted to do first... Go visit a garden
Below: A few photos of Hatcher Garden a public garden and woodland Preserve here in South Carolina.
I love Gazebos...
And this cute little bridge with ferns...
Below: A close up of those gorgeous Elephant Ears in the back ground above; correct me if these are not Elephant Ears.. I won't mind.. But I think I'm right.
Below: A Banana tree
Below: I also love all kinds of conifers...I believe this one is a Japanese conifer
More conifers...
This is unique..Wish I knew what it was...I got to do some researching
Below: Love the grasses...
Below: This shrub has an intoxicating citrus scent... It's got to be a citrus, but what kind I wonder?
" aaah the relaxing sounds of water.
Below: click to see and hear the water...
I love frogs, I hope to have a few in my future garden
Very unique... I have no idea what it is, several of the plant markers that Identify these plants were missing or not replaced.
Below: Love, love, love, these...I assume they belong to the palm family.
The South ain't the south with-out a Magnolia. This one was a giant and approximately 20 feet.
NEXT..... we ride through the country side...and snap some photos of Anderson Mill's Cows...
These cows were curious but cautious...
If I thought I was going to pet this one, I would have been sadly mistaken... Look at the expression on this heifers face... I read her loud and clear...
She said " I dare ya"
That's all for now Y'all ..Thanks for stopping by.
